Be Free Pathways
A survivor-led, relationship-first pathway for women returning home from incarceration - meeting each woman where she is and walking alongside her toward stability, healing, and leadership.
Be Free Foundation offers a clear and supportive reentry pathway designed by women with lived experience. Our work happens in three connected stages. Women may enter at any point depending on their needs, timing, and readiness. Together, these pathways support women as they move from surviving, to healing, to leading.
Reentry support and stability planning for women returning home, including navigation of supervision, housing, and daily life transitions.
Trauma-informed healing through community, restorative justice circles, and recovery-focused support.
Leadership development, advocacy, and empowerment for women to shape solutions and lead change in their communities.
Walk With Me
Walk With Me supports women in the first months and years after incarceration – a time often marked by instability, overwhelm, and isolation. This pathway focuses on meeting immediate needs while building trust, consistency, and connection.
What Support May Look Like
Women in Walk With Me receive one-on-one mentoring and peer-based support to help navigate the realities of reentry, including housing, supervision requirements, benefits, appointments, and daily life transitions. Through restorative circles and relationship-based support, women are reminded they do not have to walk this season alone.
